Background and Credentials

Dr. Sunny is a Massapequa native and has lived and studied on Long Island for most of his early years. He attended Our Lady of Lourdes for his earliest education followed by St. Anthony’s High School where he was a multi-sport athlete and honor roll student.

He did his undergraduate studies at Stony Brook University where he academically excelled and was a Teaching Assistant for several classes such as Organic Chemistry and Microbiology. He received his dental degree from the prestigious NYU College of Dentistry where he received a tremendous clinical foundation in all aspects of dentistry. He received advanced training from his residency program at Woodhull Hospital in Brooklyn, NY where he gained significant knowledge an training in areas of Oral Surgery, endodontics and other disciplines of dentistry.

His philosophy is to treat everyone the way he would wish to be treated. Doing the right thing for every patient is of utmost importance and he prides himself in never overtreating or upselling unnecessary items or procedures. He knows visiting the dentist is stressful enough, and realizes the costs are a major barrier to access quality dental care. He strives to keep costs down as much as possible for patients so doing the right thing 100% of the time is possible. He values and maintains rapport with each and every patient, hoping to create and foster a warm and welcoming environment so each patient can consider this office their dental home.
